Trusted plumbing services for Stoneham homeowners near Spot Pond and the Middlesex Fells. Our 24 hour plumber answers every call personally, any day of the week.
Petros Floros has been working on homes near Stoneham Square and out toward Farm Hill for over three decades, long enough to know how the older housing stock in this town tends to age and what tends to fail first. He's spent those 35 years fixing pipes, water heaters, and heating systems for families throughout town, personally answering calls for the burst pipe, failed boiler, or backed up drain that can't wait. That experience means faster diagnosis and fewer surprises when a plumber or heating technician shows up at your door.
Homeowners choose Floros for reasons that matter when something has gone wrong in the house:

Plumbing And Heating Services In Stoneham
Plumbing And Heating Services Available In Stoneham
From a dripping faucet to a boiler that won't fire up on a cold February morning, Floros Plumbing & Heating covers the full range of residential plumbing services Stoneham households need. Every job, large or small, gets the same careful attention Petros has brought to this trade for 35 years.
24 Hour Emergency Plumbing Services
Burst pipe repair, overflowing toilets, and other plumbing emergencies don't keep business hours, so neither do we. Call anytime, day or night, for an emergency plumber who picks up the phone.
Boiler repair, boiler maintenance, radiator repair, and baseboard heating repair keep Stoneham homes warm through the winter. We also handle hydronic heating repair for homes with in-floor or panel radiant systems.
Whether you need water heater installation in a new build or a same day water heater replacement after a tank fails, we size and install the right unit for your household's hot water demand.
A water heater leak, a unit that won't hold temperature, or a pilot light that won't stay lit all call for prompt hot water heater repair before the problem gets worse.
Routine plumbing maintenance catches small leaks before they become big ones. We also handle pipe repair, toilet repair, sink repair, and faucet repair for everyday wear and tear.
Slow sink drains, clogged shower drains, and toilet unclogging are some of the most common calls we get. Our small drain clearing service handles clogged drain repair quickly and cleanly.
Stoneham's housing stock ranges from older colonials near Stoneham Square and Central Street to split levels tucked into the hills around Farm Hill and William Covino Way. Many of these homes still have original cast iron drain lines or aging boilers, which is exactly the kind of system Petros has spent 35 years learning to work on.
The town's hilly terrain and proximity to Spot Pond and the Middlesex Fells Reservation also mean some basements and crawl spaces deal with groundwater that puts extra strain on sump systems and drain lines. We factor that local reality into every drain cleaning and pipe repair call in town.
Homes near the Stone Zoo and along North Border Road tend to be older construction, while newer homes closer to Montvale Avenue and the Redstone Shopping Center area often have updated hydronic heating systems. Either way, we show up knowing what questions to ask before we even open the access panel.
What Sets Us Apart
Why Choose Floros Plumbing & Heating In Stoneham
Petros Floros built this plumbing and heating company on the idea that homeowners deserve a straight answer and a fair price, not a sales pitch. That philosophy shapes how every job in Stoneham gets handled, from a simple sink drain clearing to a full hot water heater replacement.
Owner Operated Care
Petros personally answers every call and handles the work himself, so there is no dispatcher guessing at your problem or a rotating crew learning your system from scratch.
Same Day Service When It Counts
Water heater failures and burst pipes get priority scheduling, including same day water heater replacement when a tank fails without warning.
Three Decades Of Proven Results
An A+ BBB rating and a 2013 Angie's List Best Contractor Award back up 35 years of plumbing and heating work across the area, not just marketing claims.
Know The Warning Signs
Signs A Stoneham Home Needs A Plumber Now
Some plumbing problems can wait for a scheduled visit. Others need an emergency plumber before they turn into real damage. Watch for these warning signs:
Water stains spreading across a ceiling or wall, often a sign of a hidden plumbing leak
A boiler or radiator that stays cold no matter how high the thermostat is set
A water heater that's leaking, making popping sounds, or producing lukewarm water at best
Multiple drains backing up at once, which usually points to a main line clog rather than one fixture
A sudden spike in the water bill with no obvious explanation
Low or no water pressure throughout the house, which can signal a failing pipe
If any of these sound familiar, it's worth calling before a small issue becomes an emergency water heater replacement or a flooded basement.
